SEAI Grant Amounts for 2026
You may qualify for:
- Up to €4,000 for windows
- €800 per external door
- Maximum total grant of €5,600
Maximum Window Grants by Property Type
- Detached house: up to €4,000
- Semi detached or end terrace: up to €3,000
- Mid terrace: up to €1,800
- Apartment: up to €1,500
External doors:
- €800 per door
- Maximum of 2 doors
Who Qualifies for the SEAI Grant?
To qualify in 2026 your home must:
- Be built and occupied before 2011
- Have attic and wall insulation rated Good or Very Good
- Install windows with a U value of 1.4 W/m²K or better
- Complete a BER assessment
- Achieve a Heat Loss Indicator below 2.3
